Things to Carry on Har Ki Dun Trek


India is a paradise for those who like outdoor tourism. All types of tracks are available here. Trekking season has started  in the country. This season will start just after the monsoon, which will last till November. Until before winter begins. However, winter treks are done in November December and January such as Chadar Trek  is trekked in the months of January and Febraury only.

Preparing for Trek

All trackers, along with first time trekkers, are suggested to create a fitness routine before the trip. This should include jogging, brisk walking, sit-ups and cardio routines. This will prove to be helpful in strengthening your muscles as well as increasing the ability to take oxygen. Backpack You need a very well designed, sturdy backpack. The bag must be waterproof. At least one should be a water rescuer. The design should be such that more and more items can be fitted in. But also keep in mind that keep as much stuff in it as you can walk on foot. For the first time trackers are advised to keep a minimum weight. Warm Inner Wear –

As it is cold in most of the regions and night is really scary without warming, you must take care of your warm wear. Either it is Har ki Dun or any nearby trek such as in Bangalore, Pune or elsewhere. Since this is new year, you can also plan a new year party in Pune or some other trekking region, here is the list you need to carry with you-
