Introduction to Valley of Flowers
The Valley of Flowers remains open for visit only from the start of June until the start of October. For the major part of the year, this region stays covered all by thick snow sheets. The period from mid of July to mid of August, Valley of Flowers remains flooded with heaps of flowers. This flowering period is usually followed by the first monsoon showers. 1.Summers at Valley of Flowers
Onslaught of summers in Valley of Flowers marks the beginning of Orchid season. The circulating air remains fresh for most period of time, and radiates soothing fragrance. Right from Ghangria to the main door of Valley of Flowers, there’s a wide array of exotic floral species blooming everywhere. On your way back, you can take a detour and visit Coorg and witness astonishing Coorg tourist places. Besides the floral species, you get to witness the wildlife here. Snow Leopard, Asiatic Black Bear, Musk Deer, and Red Fox are some wild species to watch all along your way. March to June marks the summers here. 2.Winters at Valley of Flowers
Onslaught of winters marks the falling down of snow in the Valley of Flowers. The flowers present here all witness a drying phase. Now the colourful region will soon be covered with sparkling white sheet of snow. October to February is the winter session of Valley of Flowers when the place remains isolated from the rest of the world. 3.Rainy season at Valley of Flowers
From July to September, the region receives its first showers. Everywhere, you can witness the presence of lush green environs. These lush green environs amalgamate perfectly with the vibrant flowers. With showers striking Valley of Flowers, the entire region turns as a carpet of impressive floral species. Orchids, lilies and other colourful flowers are real delights of this region. As the rainy season proceeds further, the valley transforms beautifully from greenish hue to a lighter yellow tone.
